Who We Are
The Social Ecology Institute of British Columbia is a registered, not-for-profit society which is located in the Cowichan Valley, British Columbia, Canada. The directors and members are citizens of Canada who are concerned about Canadian society’s lack of substantive and meaningful action on sustainable living issues facing us today: e.g., impacts of climate change; impacts of increasing fossil fuel costs; impacts of resource depletion; impacts of environmental degradation; impacts of globalization; developing sustainable economies; resource and community governance; food security; and watershed management.
Institute Vision: Living in balance with nature.
